Fellowships
Army STEM Fellowships provide paid research opportunities for post-baccalaureate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral scientists and engineers (including those who have completed their degree in the past 60 months) in U.S. Army Research Labs and Centers. Projects focus on the most current and cutting-edge future research priorities of the Department of War and span a variety of fields.
The U.S. demand for trained STEM professionals is growing exponentially. Our goal is to support and prepare the 21st century workforce for the STEM careers of tomorrow. Through the Army STEM Fellowship experience, participants will develop professional and research skills, gain access to career development resources, foster relationships with U.S. Army Lab researchers, and expand professional networks.
At the end of your fellowship, you’ll write an abstract that will be published to the Army STEM Research page. This is a great way to learn how to present your research to the public. We also provide you with opportunities to participate in our master classes and Army STEM Summer Speaker Series to help gain additional knowledge and skills.
