What this website collects
This website is Army STEM’s public marketing and information site. It does not create accounts for visitors and does not collect information from children.
When you use a form on this site — Contact Us, the newsletter sign-up, or an alumni/community sign-up — we collect only what you type into it:
- Your name, if the form asks for one
- Your email address
- The program or topic you selected, if any
- The message you wrote
- Whether you checked the box to receive email updates
How we use it
A Contact Us message is routed to the Army STEM team or program office responsible for that topic, so your question reaches the people best able to answer it. We keep a copy so our staff can review and respond.
If you check “Yes, I’d like to receive email updates,” we add your email address to our mailing list (hosted by Brevo, our email service provider) so we can send you occasional updates about Army STEM programs, competitions, educational resources, and opportunities. Checking this box is entirely optional — it has no effect on whether or how we respond to your inquiry.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Children and student information
This website does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The forms on this site (Contact Us, newsletter, alumni sign-up) are intended for parents, educators, mentors, and other adults. Program applications, camp registrations, and any information about a participating student are collected separately, through our learning platform, which has its own privacy protections built for that purpose. If you believe a child has submitted information directly to this website, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
Your choices
- Opting out of email updates: every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us directly to ask to be removed.
- Correcting or deleting your information: email us at the address below with your request.
- Not checking the opt-in box: you can still send us a message through Contact Us without ever joining the mailing list.
How we protect it
Information submitted through this site is stored on servers we control, is not publicly browsable, and is accessible only to authorized Army STEM staff who need it to do their work.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
