STEM Force Discovery Lab
Don’t live next to an in-person GEMS camp? GEMS is now online! The GEMS Virtual Program (STEM Force Discovery Lab) is a one-week, at-home summer camp for rising 6th–8th graders that brings the GEMS experience online. Each student receives a physical Mission Guide in the mail and logs into Army STEM Central to follow a daily schedule. The week opens with introductory activities and videos, then moves through three themed days — Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering — each including a live guest speaker with a hands-on, at-home experiment that students complete and upload for instructor feedback. The week wraps up with a final class discussion and raffle. The more you participate, the more raffle entries you earn!
